I currently take insurance plans with United Healthcare & Aetna (I will be accepting more insurance providers in the near future… stay tuned!) and can work with clients in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, & Virginia

Use Your Insurance

I currently accept United Healthcare and Aetna Health Insurance.

My appointment booking system is through Fay Nutrition. You will first enter your personal and insurance information to see if I am contracted with your plan, and from there you can select a date and time from my availability!

Click HERE to see your estimated cost with insurance. Many people are fully covered for medical nutrition therapy or have a very low copay.

What to Expect

Initial Assessment

Our first appointment will be about 90 minutes or so. It is a time for us to get acquainted and for me to learn about your specific nutrition needs. We’ll delve deeper into your nutrition and medical history, your relationship with food, your current eating and activity habits, and any lab work or clinical data that may be relevant for me to know. I like to end our initial session with a few small goals to get us started and guide us through to our follow-up sessions.

Follow Up Appointments

This is the nitty gritty part of our partnership! Follow up sessions typically go for about 45 - 60 minutes. In these sessions we will dive deep into your progress, reflecting on successes and challenges throughout the week, and continue to reevaluate your goals together to ensure we’re moving in the right direction. I typically like to schedule weekly follow up appointments until you begin to feel confident and competent in choosing foods and an lifestyle habits that help you feel your best. However, everyone’s needs are unique and individualized, and I am happy to work with you to find a structure that works best for you!
